No gawkers

Can I just tell you how nice it is, as a woman, to walk by a construction site and not feel like crawling out of my skin because of the looks and comments made by construction workers. That never happens here. In fact,  Japanese men seem to be terrified of foreign women so I never get harassed like I do in the U.S., they barely make eye contact let alone undress me with their eyes.  I love it.
